this is my third Sonicare toothbrush, and the best. It definitely cleans teeth superbly - not only can i tell it, but the dental hygienist i go to says "Whatever you're doing to keep your teeth clean, keep it up". Before i started using the Sonicare, the dental hygienist used to have to do a lot of plaque scraping, but no more.

The last Sonicare i used had a screw-on brush, and over time gunk built up under the screw-on cap. I was only aware of it when i changed the brush (every 3 months, as recommended by my dentist), but i didn't like the idea. This flexcare has a snap-on brush with no space beneath for anything foreign to build up. Even better, this unit has an ultraviolet light that kills germs and keeps the brush sanitary. (I have a UV light on both a hot tub and a koi pond, and you can see the difference they make in just a day).

The battery stays charged for over a week of use when on trips, so no need to carry the charger.

So - clean teeth and clean brush, no plaque, easy to use, and various special features (like the battery indicator). Well worth the money!
